The man in the high castle.

A classic Philip h. Dick novel which was made into a series.
It takes place in an alternate reality where the nazis and Japanese won ww2 and conquered the United states.

People now live under a dictatorship, Germans on the east coast, Japanese on the west coast.

The parallel with what our country would be if Trump and his goons take hold is terrifying.

Nevertheless, its worth watching. Its on Amazon prime.

It started out REALLY good. I think it faded a bit in the later seasons, but I'd highly recommend watching the whole thing because it's very good throughout.

One of the really, really creepy things was how people normalized the world they were living in.
I started it once, and had to stop when they asked the mom and her kids to take a seat in the waiting room, and the furniture was covered in plastic.
And, who could forget the embrace of Eugenics (once a mainstream topic for a time, and in America, of all places)? I hate to think how it WILL come up again in a World where Renfield F Kennedy gets to expound on its virtues, and Dr Odds is out there selling it. It's Made For MAGA TV.
Nobody can save us but ourselves.
If any of us sits out the next Election we will hear the flush and see the swirl. It may be the last chance we get in our lifetime. Watch it and see for yourself how possible it could be.

I enjoyed Babylon Berlin as well.
Sadly, some Genius decided to NOT air the final season in the US.
