I saved for 2 US trips by bus in my late 20's. One eventually across to San Francisco with a major stop in Arizona to meet up w a friend, along the way for 2 weeks. The next one up to South Dakota for an event, Denver to visit a cousin, and back to Arizona Navajo & Hopi Nations my friend, and I visited the year before.

My trip to Paris was part of totally surprise gift vacation to a little village in Western Switzerland where one of my uncles and aunts lived. They moved to Switzerland for his job decades earlier.

I was there for 3 weeks to make art with her in her incredible studio!
I mentioned in my emailing her previously wanting to take a day trip by train to Paris. Instead she took me and one of my cousins to Paris for 4 days!

The Republicans in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House, along with the U.S. Supreme Court Republican Justices are so stupid, they haven't realized that there is NO Legislative Branch, and NO Judicial Branch of government in a dictatorship/tyranny.......
And, despite those three groups conspiring/enabling to put the Republicans and Trump in power and keeping the Republicans and Trump in power, at all costs, Trump, Republicans, 2025, etc......will kick them to the curb as no longer of use to the new dictatorship........

There is also an un-fathomable amount of oil and natural resources in those vast territorial expanses, and under the ocean floor, all for Russia's taking with overwhelming help from Trump..........

Being Canadian we know it is our territory with Greenland on one side and us on the other and none of this is new to us. The US has tried before to claim the NW passage, many years ago. We finally have our government locked in to realize we need to look after our territory ourselves. I am not going to say Trump will not try something militarily but I am doubtful, because we have a lot more friends than Venezuela and Russia, and more than the US right now.
