We will be greeted as liberators. It wont cost us anything, their oil will pay for it. Venezuelans are cheering on Maduro being removed and it was mission accomplished in a day...
What does this remind you of ?
Exactly the same down to the manufacturing of bogus reasons like weapon of mass destruction being equated with fentanyl ( https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/12/designating-fentanyl-as-a-weapon-of-mass-destruction/)

(17,680 posts)That's a weakness and a strength. We're good at going in and overthrowing governments, but not so good at dealing with the aftermath and governing. We install people who are nearly or just as corrupt as the regimes we topple. It's all about money. If the Venezuelan people are helped by any of this, it will be a pleasant accident.

Republicans and Fox News viewers are more likely to hold false beliefs about the president and the war in Iraq, according to a new poll.
In a Public Mind pollfrom Fairleigh Dickinson University released Wednesday, more than half of Republicans 51 percent and half of those who watch Fox News 52 percent say that they believe it to be definitely true or probably true that American forces found an active weapons of mass destruction program in Iraq.
Thirty-two percent of Democrats, 46 percent of independents, 41 percent of people who reported to watch CNN and 14 percent of MSNBC viewers answered similarly.
Overall, 42 percent still believe that troops discovered WMDs, a misleading factor in the decision to invade Iraq in 2003. It was later found that Iraq did have individual stockpilesof chemical weapons, but there was no active WMD program in the country.
