So sad. It made me remember - as if today I am still lost by the love that practically killed me. Few songs can do that on first listen.

Edit: Such a beautiful song. Now, after listening to Massimo Ranieri's version, it is my father I think of. Such a sad life he had, most of his own making.

This has me crying.
