(5,756 posts)I just don't understand how people in this century can just write off other people of a different color, race, religion, gender as less worthy to live as them.
Unfortunately I believe there is some basis for this in some religious texts. Judging and eradicating people who don't believe the same things as the dominate religion of the time or region has long been a problem.
I guess I just realized a while ago that I'm not always right. Perhaps it would be good if people like the Pope and the Taliban/Sharia advocates could realize they're not really 100% right either. Although I'm not holding my breath on either of those happening.

I'm pretty sure my own mom wouldn't have been so racist if she had been sane. Though she didn't have Fox to blame back then.
