The context I see in my search is “Leftist Bingo” — and it generates heat, not light. Anyone who isn’t maga is welcome in my political sphere — if they understand this situation is about harm reduction and not purity.

I don’t see this as a huge problem at this time. Jill Stein seems irrelevant to me. I understand others feel differently.

Same in 2024. There is no way Dems should be losing to those losers, and greens have little to do with it.

Showed that in key swing state, the Green party vote was great than the margin of loss. The Green party is just as much of an enemy to the Democratic Party as Republicans.

and they get enough loud backing from extremist "Democrats" or "Independents"

you end up with Bush v Gore and the R becoming the President.

Registration statistics don't tell the whole story.

Jill Stein and the Green Party are not friends to the Democratic Party. They helped throw the 2000 election to Bus, the 16 election to Trump and led the charge on attacks against Biden and Harris in 24. And if they don’t like being attacked by democrats, maybe they should stop attacking democrats. Until then, they can go f**k themselves.

Jill Stein is not an ally.

But Bernie Sanders is.

Zohran Mamdani is.

We need every vote we can get, and part of how we do that is by adopting a platform that reflects our principles and not (necessarily) being lockstep with our party.

Again - I am a good Democrat, but I want and expect changes in leadership. They can expect my vote, but they should act as though they must earn it.

To be clear, I resented BOTH Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders for hamstringing the campaign of my preferred candidate - Senator and Secretary Clinton. But that doesn't blind me to the damn good ideas of both Obama and Sanders.

Jill Stein? Nothing and nobody. Forget about her. She is a gadfly designed to divide us. Stop bringing her up.

Criticism with the intent to improve is healthy. I criticize our leaders. I dismiss the opposition. I don't want to help them. I'm not going to say Thune should employ X tactics or Y. I reserve the right, as a good Democrat and a reliable vote, to request Schumer do certain things.

We fight for the same team. I enjoy the banter, and I suspect we both know where we are coming from.

"Don't fail to see the forest for the trees," cuts both ways. Sometimes you end up walking straight into a trunk.
