The precious: The Nobel, the Pedophile, his coveted stolen medal, and the fool who gave it to him:

Even though it's not possible to transfer any Nobel, here we see why we live in a shithole Country thanks to the Pedophile, MAGAt mouth breathers and the 70 million voters who could not find the time to save Democracy....

Seen here: 5 year old gets participation medal, and will SWEAR he has won this since he ended 8...or is it 16 now...wars, ended hunger in America, turned back the clock to 1954, and single handedly passed the toughest cognitive tests available. He found the camel. Truly a worthless POS wrapped in old orange skin. Sickening. I await the day I awake and things have rapidly changed.

more of a peacemaker. She is foolish. That isn't how it works.

You earn it. You accept it graciously and modestly. And you appreciate being recognized. You don't demean your efforts and yourself.

All props in his Reality TV, illegitimate, presidency.

Obama won a Nobel Prize? Rump wants a Nobel Prize. Obama took out Bin Ladin? Rump wants to kill leaders of ISIS and as many other people as he can to show that he killed more "baddies" than Obama.

Maybe if Harvard gave Rump an honorary PhD, he would leave them alone.

Everything he does is out of spite, greed, ego, vindictiveness, and cruelty.

I smell some sort of back door deal behind this. Shame on the Nobel Committee for allowing this potentially. Appeasement only results in more of the same.

Off of my wish list. What’s next? An Oscar for “Petty Woman”?

There is a million dollar plus prize, pretty sure she kept the cash. For herself.

So sad that what she fought for in her home country she could care less about here. Below from the Nobe Committee

The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025 to Maria Corina Machado “for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.”

In the past year, Ms Machado has been forced to live in hiding. Despite serious threats against her life she has remained in the country, a choice that has inspired millions of people. She has brought her country’s opposition together. She has never wavered in resisting the militarisation of Venezuelan society. She has been steadfast in her support for a peaceful transition to democracy.

18. Maddowblog-Trump received a Nobel Peace Prize the same way he received a Purple Heart

The president seems to prefer a model where others do the heavily lifting and then generously turn over their honors.

Trump received a Nobel Peace Prize the same way he received a Purple Heart:

He wants the honors without the sacrifice. He prefers a model in which others do the work and then generously turn over their awards to him, because, as he put it, it’s “much easier.” www.ms.now/rachel-maddo...

https://www.ms.now/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/trump-received-a-nobel-peace-prize-the-same-way-he-received-a-purple-heart
That reminded me of a story from almost a decade ago. Politico published this report in August 2016:

Without setting foot on a battlefield, Donald Trump said he received a Purple Heart medal on Tuesday at his rally in Ashburn, Virginia, from a retired lieutenant colonel and supporter.

‘I said to him, “Is that like the real one, or is that a copy?”’ the Republican nominee said moments after taking the stage at a local high school. Trump recounted the exchange, remarking that the man, who he identified as retired Lt. Col. Louis Dorfman said, ‘That’s my real Purple Heart. I have such confidence in you.’

“I always wanted to get the Purple Heart,” the then-candidate declared. “This was much easier.”

Purple Hearts are awarded to service members or their families after they’re wounded or killed in the course of their military service. Due to alleged “bone spurs” in his feet, Trump avoided military service, but by his own admission, he “always wanted to get the Purple Heart” anyway.

Having someone who actually served in the military hand him the honor was “much easier” for Trump than actually wearing the uniform and putting his life on the line.

With Machado, the story is similar: Trump wants the accolades without the sacrifice. He apparently prefers a model in which others do the heavily lifting and then generously turn over their honors to him, without him having to do anything to merit the award he covets.

But while the president will likely celebrate the Nobel Peace Prize that ended up in his possession, he’ll know — we all know — that there’s a dramatic difference between a gift and earned honors.
