We Talked To Trump Voters Who Went Socialist. What We Heard Will Shock You. - More Perfect Union

A full 10% of NYC Trump voters turned around and voted for Zohran Mamdani.
So we went to talk to them.
These voters are done with the status quo. One New Yorker told us: "As Americans, we can realize it's not Republican versus Democrat. It's more of like a class war."

It's both, and more.
Add to that the White Supremacist color of this war, and the misogynistic view point of the males in this movement, and the picture gets even clearer.
You not only have to be white, you have to be privileged white male.
Lower and middle class white males are the "useful idiots" in this war. They're necessary to maintain power and control exclusively in the hands of the ruling class.
And that ruling class uses the republican party to set the rules at the governmental level, so money power and control are all concentrated in their hands.

get their head straight. To see not everyone, in fact most people, do not want to move here at all. They have different lives, different ways, that are perfectly fine – in fact many times they are better than what we have here.

American exceptionalism. phoeey. Yes, the founding principles are more than good, but how many politicians preach from the honest and good playbook? How many citizens really live up to the original founding principles or work for the common good?
