Story by Laura Colgan & Andrea Oldereide & Somaiyah Hafeez
If you're looking for an unlikely ally in the political arena, you might want to consider befriending some crows. These brainy birds have been enlisted in an unusual form of protest - swiping MAGA hats right off people's heads.
An American man has successfully training crows to swoop down on people MAGA hats. Dave, who goes by "biz_dave" on his Threads profile, has become an internet phenomenon after documenting his entire avian training adventure, showing how some peanuts, a few months of patience, and a dash of political defiance turned local crows into hat-pinching stars.

(31,704 posts)they remember individual humans that tried to harm them... and they get all their friends and offspring in on the multi-generational hatred.
I wonder if the anti-MAGA training is being passed around the murder.

(12,608 posts)Hold, and crows nation wide start taking the MAGA hats, especially if they take one off the pigs head on camera, I may forgive the Murder of crows plowing up my yard like a herd of wild boars, as they feast of June Bug Larvae.
Damn crows are much much smarter than MAGA, GQP and all of ICE and its leaders.
Lets go crows.

(1,506 posts)My father grew up on a farm. Daddy and his cousin were talking about a crow they half tamed. They fed it the chicken feed and the crow would bring back shiny objects that it kept on the porch. Crows are VERY territorial.
My Daddy's family never went to church, but Sunday was the day that friends and families visited. Daddy and the rest of the children would sit on the porch and wait. As soon as someone rattled the chain to open the gate, that crow would dive bomb the folks invading its territory. By this time, Daddy and James Sydney were laughing so much that tears were rolling down their faces, and you couldn't understand them.
The end of the story was the crow disappeared. They said everyone knew someone shot that crow, but the person who did it took that secret to their grave.
Thanks for bringing back a wonderful memory.

(4,634 posts)He would greet us when we entered his house with a very hearty "Hello!" Professor was able to mimic my aunt's unique laugh perfectly. I love crows and I admire ravens as well. I think I'm part of a very small minority who enjoy hearing their cawing to each other - somehow I find it peaceful.
I wonder, is it only MAGA hats these crows snatch or any red head covering?
