(53,475 posts)Here in Wisconsin, I'm glad that we have snow plow drivers working for the County government. My house is on the "medical" list and they always make sure we are plowed out before I have to take my daughter to dialysis.
Government isn't the problem, government is the solution.

(46,117 posts)property owner were dependent upon that property owner or the snow removal company it contracted to remove the snow. Matter of fact, it would be unpredictable whether the contracted company could even drive to that patch of the road if the roads were cleared to begin with.

(4,941 posts)those are done by either private citizens or private citizens with their own company under contract to those side roads. They're paid by a collection of funds from the citizens on a particular road.
