Guess who the US Border Guards caught on suspicion of being a terrorist:

US Border Guards Detained Mo Farah,Won Two Olympic Gold Medals 6 Months Ago, On Suspicion Of Being A Terrorist

Mo Farah, gold-medal winner in the men's 5,000m and 10,000m this summer in London, hilarious celebrator, and world-famous meme, couldn't get through customs in Oregon over the Christmas holiday because he is of Somalian descent. That'll show him for beating us in the Olympics! (And also expose our border control as haphazard racial profilers.) He even showed the guards his gold medals, reports the Sun:

Mo Farah was quizzed by US customs on suspicion of being a terrorist - even though he had his two Olympic gold medals in his suitcase.

The Team GB hero, one of the world's most famous athletes, was hauled off for questioning after border guards saw he was born in Somalia.

Mo, 29, said: "I couldn't believe it. Because of my Somali origin I get detained every time I come through US Customs. This time I even got my medals out to show who I am, but they wouldn't have it."

Mo, who came to Britain with his English-born dad as a child, was pulled aside as he headed to spend Christmas with his family in Portland, Oregon.

He moved there last year to work with legendary trainer Alberto Salazar at Nike's HQ.[/div class="excerpt"]
Farah was eventually released because Salazar has a friend that works for the FBI, which is disconcerting in and of itself—as Farah himself notes, ""God knows what would have happened if he didn't."

That's Mo Farah, CBE to you morans. The Queen has a terrorist in her midst.
(Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE))

They probably thought those were gold doubloons he was going to sell to carry out heinous acts.

our economy, or the war criminals who dragged us into unnecessary wars and plunged this country into debt, not to mention all the human beings they killed?

And I wonder how much we are spending to pull over people who just 'look' like terrorists?

So much wasted money just to put on a show that we are fighting some great WOT when the real threats to this country are right here.

He is owed a huge apology and I hope he gets it.

He literally said the economic terrorists (ie., those who are supposedly running the show) should be dragged in front of the Hague.

It's weird how common sense is out, and bullshit rules.

And in a corrupt society, bullshit will rule because it allows the corruption to happen, and common sense is out the door as well as the truth because they are enemies of corruption.

I also hated "service economy".

We've entered the full on bullshit era.

I love Mo! It was the greatest pleasure to be witness to his amazing cardiovascular fitness.

So they say we're broke. Well I can think of two areas where workers ought to be removed and put into productive areas rather than the counterproductive crap they're doing. Homeyland security and the military. Make then beg for crumbs. Then we can rebuild a nation.

I accompanied a friend to get a US visa at the Texas border. To enter the Customs and Border Patrol visa office, you have to cross the security cordon, backwards. That is, you have to exit onto the area where foreign visitors wait in line to have their ids checked. So, to exit the visa office, you have to pass back through the security cordon.

They asked for my ID. I showed them my MA driver's license. The border guard wouldn't accept it and demanded my passport.

Me - I don't have it.

Guard - Why not?

Me - I left it at home.

Guard - Why?

Me - Because I did not expect to need a US passport to visit a US government office on US soil.

Guard - Are you a US citizen?

Me - I am.

Guard -Where were you born.

Me - Mexico.

Guard - (sneering) So, you're a Naturalized US Citizen?

Me - Actually, I'm a US citizen born abroad.

Guard - Oh, You can go...

Now why does it fucking matter whether you're a US citizen or a Naturalized US citizen is beyond me. And I don't understand why you have to have a US passport to visit a government facility on US soil. If I had crossed into Mexico without a passport, I would've been in deep shit coming back without a passport, but I should never be forced to "exit" the country to enter a US government office on US soil.
