If you want an excellent "Justice was served" feel-good moment in this time of gloom and doom, check out Afroman's music video about some Ohio cops that barged into his home, broke his front door and stole some cash. His revenge is sweet! There's also another video where he sings about the lemon pound cake on the counter the cops were eyeing.
***Lyrics are MATURE! Also, the cop he sings about? His ex-wife provided some great testimony for Afroman. Enjoy!

(37,666 posts)It is to include every crime and investigation of every LEO. Many LEOs that have been arrested or investigated just move to another state or county and get hired again. This ends up costing taxpayers a lot of money. This register could save tons of tax payer dollars.
Also the buck stops at the top. The department and state would save the money if voters knew who hired a crooked cop. Mayors, governors and other officials responsible for these hires would have a hard time getting elected with this knowledge.

(37,666 posts)but in too many cases, police unions are really mob enforcers. They along with prosecutors protect each other, part of the Blue Line. Cover each others backs. Plus their funds wouldnt cover very many settlements. Might even make them even more crooked.
The buck stops at the top, thats more than likely an elected person.

(5,202 posts)I couldn't believe this was actual testimony and not a spoof!
If you're feelings are hurt because someone called you lemon pound cake, you're probably not fit to be a cop.
If you break down in tears on the stand because someone made fun of you in a music video... yeah... not fit to be a cop.
If you actually accuse your own wife of cheating on you - who you have been with since middle school - because of a music video... definitely not fit to be a cop. Go read Othello you knuckle dragging dork.

(179,996 posts)This is a clear cut First Amendment case that should have been dismissed unless the judge in the case is an idiot or is biased against the Defendant. This is not a close issue. I tend to agree with the poster below

This case should have never made it to a jury

(7,695 posts)They may have had a more pro-cop climate with another judge. Remember the Kyle Rittenhouse judge? He was a rank POS. Coached the jury to let that racist, punk murderer off the hook. Outcome couldn't have been sweeter!
