If this is an escalation involving troops on the ground, then were probably in for at least a couple more weeks of this sort of market of higher oil prices, high gas prices; youre hanging on every headline about energy infrastructure in the region,
Baird investment strategist Ross Mayfield said to CNBC. Quite frankly, equity markets havent sold off in a way that would reflect this sort of event yet, so there could still be some downside ahead.'

I hedged on Friday. Raised cash and hedged much of the rest. I heard Bravos say AI/Tech will be viewed as risky in the weeks ahead, and heard Micron could halve over the next year or so (from Soloway though I didn't pay strict attention to the numbers). He did say S&P 6550 was the level to hold and it closed way below that. So yes, downside ahead, time for preservation mode. IMHO.
By the way, looking ahead .... fertilizer rationing, crops poor, no pickers, expensive trucking, layoffs, gasoline $4+ now, all global problems. Any idea all this will rebound to return to normalcy is delusional. Some article said it will take 5 years to repair LNG facility in Kharg Island. How much is your electric bill? Think it might go up?

(10,787 posts)If your workers are not valuable enough to be able to afford your product, then your product isn't that great. It's overvalued, and you should drop its price until they can afford it or increase their wages accordingly. This is a failed business model.
