(10,893 posts)They do this all the time, shutting down on weekends (except the mornings) and holidays. News doesn't stop happening just because it's Saturday afternoon or Christmas, though. Even FOX can get people to sub in to do some holiday and weekend shows, and that's their chief rival.
Oh well. I see it as more of an incentive to find something else to do besides TV, and to take a short break from politics.
