So I see the House passed a stopgap bill late this evening

Funding dhs for 60 days , and it goes to the Senate … but no one is home for 2 weeks

Just got a NYT email about it , but not seeing anything here about it .
So I guess it will be news in the morning .

Just so they can find some way to place the lack of pay on democrats.

Dems should jsut make the case louder that the EO must be codified into law and ask why Johnson is suddenly opposing Trump on this crucial issue. Why doe Mike Johnson hate Trump?

So I don't think anyone will sue to block it. It's basically a win for Dems, and the country. Dems were offering to agree to fund just TSA, but Republicans refused. This EO is even better than simply funding TSA--it takes money AWAY from ICE too! That's even better than what we offered! HA!
