"Can't keep an NBA team"...? More like "can't keep the commissioner from handing the team to his buddy from Oklahoma.". The Sonics were heavily supported here -- they were just sold without warning to an out-of-town buyer, and the NBA shot down every attempt to stop the team from moving, even though the head of Microsoft was trying to buy the team back to keep it here.

And the ONLY reason we have "another sports talk radio" station was that CBS decided to start up a national sports network and converted their affiliates in every major market.

One may as well wonder, for that matter, why there is sports-talk radio in a town that couldn't keep even one of two NFL teams. Right?
