The Journal News is Armed and Dangerous

Armed guards from RGA Investigations have taken up post at the Journal News’ Rockland County headquarters

BY DYLAN SKRILOFF

...A Clarkstown police report issued on December 28, 2012, confirmed that The Journal News has hired armed security guards from New City-based RGA Investigations and that they are manning the newspaper’s Rockland County headquarters at 1 Crosfield Ave., West Nyack, through at least tomorrow, Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

According to police reports on public record, Journal News Rockland Editor Caryn A. McBride was alarmed by the volume of “negative correspondence,” namely an avalanche of phone calls and emails to the Journal News office, following the newspaper’s publishing of a map of all pistol permit holders in Rockland and Westchester...

...Private investigator Richard Ayoob is the administrator of RGA. He told the Clarkstown Police on Friday, December 28 that there had been no problems on site at the Journal News headquarters despite the massive influx of phone calls and emails.

McBride had filed at least two reports with the Clarkstown Police Department due to perceived threats. However, the police did not find the communications in question actually threatening. Incident-Report 2012-00033099 describes McBride telling police she was worried because an email writer wondered “what McBride would get in her mail now.”...

Obviously a bunch of paranoids, and a threat to the safety of their neighbors. I hope the good
people of Rockland County avoid doing business with them. Where can we find the names and addresses of those armed guards? We have a right to that information!

That's why they're called hypocrites.

Some non gun owners were upset by the list as they realized that it made them more of a target for a home invasion.

The Delicate Flowers lash out if anyone threatens the sanctity of their Precious. The newspaper is protecting itself from the 101st Chairborne Division.

If the Delicate Flowers are forced to give up their guns, their future existence will consist solely of cowering, trembling, under their beds and crying for "MOMMY!"

Then again, the Journal News has every right to choose toprotect themselves via firearm
as anybody else- but it would seem that they don't want anybody else to choose to
do so...

We can talk about the adults that have been massacred with the help of the NRA.

A hatred for children and adults, in fact anything that gets in the way of their guns, is probably not uncommon for Delicate Flowers with an gut-wrenching obsession on their Precious.

-*The NRA* for becoming (as I said before) a hypocritical right-wing political movement with a bitchin' gun club...

Then again, I do realize I'm sailing against the wind here:

Here again cognitive psychologists have done miracles in disclosing the well-nigh unlimited capabilities and eagerness of human beings to ward off contradictions inter alia by closing their eyes to data that are at variance with their assumptions. ... people who accept the stereotype...are forever coming up with evidence to support their idée fixe and seem unable to notice any information which might disturb their belief.

their obvious shilling for the Republicans.

and suggested that they end their partisan shilling and instead focus on firearm safety, rights and make an effort to educate politicians of both Parties. They make a big mistake by attempting to make firearms political. They were never political until more recent years.

You can probably find the names and addresses of those armed guards the same place the newspaper found the names and addresses of all those registered permit holders. It is a matter of public record.

make it to where ordinary people are not allowed to have guns, they shouldn't have armed guards. If gun ownership is wrong, then the newspaper needs to let the police handle any problems.
Otherwise they are being hypocrites. "We want restrictions for you, but none for me."

Thu Jan 3, 2013, 08:24 PM

The elites will have the wherewithal to have their machine guns (and drones too) at the ready protecting the irrational beliefs of their paranoid owners who perceive threats by humanity, while dumbed down average Americans will wait forever for an answer from the 911 operator.

No thanks, I want the right to have my own level of protection whatever I deem necessary, be it AR15s or shotguns. I refuse to heed what rich elites with Blackwater on contingency claim we the peons should have. As OWS has said, fxck the elites.

The idea that progressives have somehow allowed themselves to become overly dumbed down and emotionally gullible and susceptible to pure propaganda of the billionaire elite, who want our pensions and Social Security, while these oligarchs are entitled to military protection, needs to be exposed and openly discussed.

21. The publishers of the Journal-News (Gannett Co) are progressives??
Fri Jan 4, 2013, 01:45 PM
Jan 2013

the news media was once intended to publish facts instead of punditry and promoting special agendas. It once was independent before it was consolidated into media empires with way too much influence over our culture and perceived reality.

I have a better idea. Why doesn't the Journal-News publish the map, and names and addresses of those with illegal firearms, instead of publishing the names and addresses of law abiding people that did what they were supposed to do when they own firearms.

I must have missed the memo that said gun enthusiasts couldn't be progressives. Did the Journal News put that one out too?
