Prepare to be disappointed in November

This one-two punch with the SCOTUS and the Virginia Supreme Court redistricting cases really fucked us. There is a good chance we come up short in November.

I hope I’m wrong, but the polls have been wrong many times before. Days like today are why I got my Irish passport.

Democrats are going to win in November. And they were going to win before this ruling
by more than five seats. Our economy is likely to be worse over the summer which will
shift the electorate even farther towards the Dems. There is a strong anti-incumpancy
mood in the country as well.

Yes this ruling is disappointing and shock at a perilous time, but it is a time to support each
other and the forces of democracy, not a time to demoralize each other.

Even though Trump won this state bigly and Rs outnumber Dems in registered voters, we will likely flip a senate seat and perhaps a house seat or two. Not to mention, putting a Dem in the Governors mansion.

This state is no longer red but trending purple.

Sounds like you’re halfway out the door anyway with the Irish passport flex.

Add to voter suppression we haven't seen since Juim Crow and I think it will be a very tough election.
