David Letterman just eviscerated CBS.

Stephen Colbert provided an assist in throwing furniture off the top of the building.

Letterman ended the segment by saying - "In the words of Edward R. Murrow, Good Night and Good Luck...you motherfuckers."

Letterman instigated an adventure of throwing the furniture, from the set, off of the building. He and Stephen threw watermelons and a cake off the building, as well. Letterman used to throw stuff off the building.

If I find a clip, I will share it. It might be on youtube soon.

YOU get it off your chest (to some extent), and you give the rest of us a good laugh and sight-gag.

Sounds like good deal to me!

Quintessential Letterman!

I am curious to see what Colbert is sitting on next week. I wonder if CBS will be so offended that they pre-empt him next week? They are no longer a professional entity.

...I can see them sending him a bill for the damaged property. And if they're really nasty, sue him for the funds.

I have watched a few you tube clips over the years. I just don't find him funny or entertaining. I watch comedy to get away from politics. He has been mixing the two together for years. IMHO.

the home of Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite, and Dan Rather is now nothing more than a propaganda outlet for the literal worst person in the world.

No more honesty, no more decency, no more courage, just empty heads mouthing empty words for oligarchs.

Walter Cronkite was an embedded reporter during WWII. can you imagine the current empty-headed nincompoop who sits in the anchor chair at CBS doing that?
