KCMO. My power is out. Big tree down at the end

of my street.

Thousands out so could be a while. But it's going o be
cooler the next few days so I'm fine. Storm didn't seem that bad.

Was in KC 2 wks ago and the rain and storms missed me up near Platte. Was advised to take toll way to Topeka in case of flooding. Visited Arabia museum, Miniatures museum and TWA.

at the Toy and Miniatures museum in KCMO many years ago. I haven’t been back in many years, but know they have grown quite a bit. It is worth visiting! Also have been to The Steam Boat Arabia museum a few times. They will be closing their doors I believe in November. They were hoping to move it somewhere else, but don’t think they have found a place yet.

Found a used book that took me to the Arabia museum. Had seen a picture of the architecture classroom in the Miniatures museum about 30 yrs. Ago in Fine Woodworking mag. All good , 1800 mile trip.

Sometimes it can take a few days. So many branches, sticks and twigs to pick up in the meantime.

I had a 125 foot oak tree in my back yard that got torn up in a storm. Cost me $3,500 to have it felled, cut up, and hauled away.
