him got fucked over by congress when it came to money for Sandy? After all, they're just dumping on him the way that he's dumped on others. What's the matter, asshole? Not so fun being on the wrong side of the "fiscal responsibility"stick?

(135,830 posts)This isn't about Christie. There are do many people who have lost everything. I get no satisfaction from seeing Christie being put in a position of needing help for his state.

It is a silver lining that this has brightened the spotlight on the heartlessness of the Republicans, though.

(13,616 posts)I would strongly suggest that Gov Christie go down to Louisiana and talk to Mary Landrieu, she could give him a nice education about how the GOP will ALWAYS cut your throat, no matter how much you give to the oil industry, or how many times you help them.

(50,326 posts)he is being heralded by all sides at a time when he will soon be running for re-election, this is a win-win for him while HIS party screwed the victims of Sandy.
Being cynical, his blasting of the repubs and Boehner while praising Cantor, certainly won't hurt his chances of re-election in a very blue State and he knows it.
He is a political animal, pure and simple and everything he says and does has a political calculus to it, imo, including this latest statement.
