You're President, Iran won't "make a deal" with you, your slush fund's terminated, WHAT'S YOUR NEXT LOGICAL MOVE?

Trump Self-Soothes With Fake Photo of Unfinished Pet Project
HEAD IN THE CLOUDS
The easily distracted president sure has his priorities straight.

Trump daydreamed about his $13 million renovation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool while his administration was humiliated on multiple fronts on Monday.

Trump, 79, posted a doctored side-by-side photo of the Reflecting Pool on Truth Social around 3 p.m. on Monday, comparing two identical images of the site under “Hussein Obama” and himself.

The photo on Trump’s side depicts much bluer water than the one on Obama’s side, though the photos are otherwise identical. Both images feature the exact same cloud formations and people walking alongside the pool, meaning one photo is just a color swap of the other.

I have to wonder if the inevitable will happen, and he'll just stop getting attention.

There's a remarkable scene in George Romero's "Dawn of the Dead." One of the characters gets attacked by zombies, which means he turns into a zombie. He's in an elevator. There are zombies watching the elevator come down to their floor. They gather, thinking "HEY! DINNER!" The door opens and the guy inside is more messed up than all of them combined and they take a look and sort of go "MEH" and shuffle away.

I wonder if a similar fate awaits Trump. If you ask ME "When did his schtick get OLD and REPETITIVE and TIRESOME," my answer would be "THE EIGHTIES."

And I know he still fascinates the MAGAts, but if prices keep climbing and people are forced to get by with less and less as we watch Elon Musk become the world's first trillionaire, riding on the back of Americans' 401K plans, will the MAGAts become like those zombies and just kind of go "this isn't funny anymore" and walk away?

I have my doubts, but WOW, would that be the ultimate dose of karma for Trump.

So that's my dream...that he gets to live out his final years, wallowing in irrelevance.

Although logical is being used fairly loosely in this context.

so that he can get another rush of adrenaline like with seizing Maduro. He seems bored with Iran at the moment, but he can't get out of his own way to extricate himself (us) from that mess.

I think that Trump really just doesn't care anymore and it would be best for everybody that he just resigns and spare us a couple of years but TBH I don't know that just getting rid of Trump would fix anything. His second term push to become an American autocrat is (thankfully) falling apart but it's still a couple of years away from the next Presidential election, so it's not like we can get a Democrat into office before then and JD Vance is a prick and a moron, as is the rest of the cabinet and Mike Johnson in the House (who may very well lose his Speakership by next January). I think that this country is FUBAR'd until after 2028. I don't really see a comeback for Trump, and I don't know how we will pull ourselves out the morass that Trump has us stuck in......

He is incapable of making the only possible deal because it will brand a big L for Loser on his forehead. And that deal is recommitting to Obama's treaty, shoveling 10x the amount of money that Obama did (reparations for the criminal war), and an "environmental fee" (i.e., toll).

He will continue to demand that his so-called "negotiators" get a "better deal." Unfortunately, even more competent folk than his morons wouldn't be able to craft a way out that isn't effectively a declaration of surrender and declaration that the treaty negotiated over two years by the Obama administration, which was supported by allies -- a treaty the felon ripped to shreds -- was the best deal possible.

Tantrums and blaming someone else. Then bragging about himself, or having others do it.

He's such a miserable creature.
