thousands of dropped DOJ cases against financial and other crimes against the United States of America and it's citizens;

millions, perhaps billions, in uncollected taxes as a result of the decimation of the IRS and a shift in focus to lower income earners (Data from both government watchdogs and tax policy groups confirms that lower-income earners and working-class taxpayers receiving the Earned Income Tax Credit are audited at higher rates than millionaires. This outcome stems from a combination of budget cuts, staffing shortages, and policy shifts during the Trump administration);

thousands of regulatory violations that endanger Americans ignored;

millions of families destroyed by indiscriminate and unlawful "enforcement" against legal immigrants, asylum seekers, and long-time undocumented residents alike, along with destruction of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of small farms and businesses that rely on immigrant labor (yes, we should not be addicted to undocumented labor, but the U.S. is and that fact has been ignored and there are more progressive ways to address the problem);

uncounted women dead for lack of reproductive care;

uncounted women forced to bear children due to lack of access to abortion services,

Since the Reagan years, 75 trillion has been transferred from the bottom 90% to the top %1. The transfer accelerated with the rise of right-wingnut radio and FOX News in partnership with monied so-called "think tanks" feeding lies into the noise machine. And more recently, the insanity has reached well...insane proportions, with algorithm driven bubbles that have sent millions down rabbit holes so deep they've lost their f-ing minds.

It is depressing, but I suspect they have gone so far that we've reached a breaking point.
