On December 6, 1989, Marc Lépine, armed with a legally-obtained semi-automatic rifle and a hunting knife, entered a mechanical engineering class at the École Polytechnique. He ordered the women to one side of the classroom, and instructed the men to leave. After claiming that he was "fighting feminism," he shot all nine women in the room, killing six. The shooter then moved through corridors, the cafeteria, and another classroom, specifically targeting women to shoot for just under 20 minutes. He killed a further eight women before turning the gun on himself. It was the deadliest mass shooting in Canada until the 2020 Nova Scotia attacks.

After the attack, Canadians debated various interpretations of the events, their significance, and the shooter’s motives. The massacre is now widely regarded as an anti-feminist attack and representative of wider societal violence against women; the anniversary of the massacre is commemorated as the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

The incident led to more stringent gun control laws in Canada, and increased action to end violence against women. It also resulted in changes in emergency services protocols to shootings, including immediate, active intervention by police. These changes were later credited with minimizing casualties during incidents in Montreal and elsewhere.

That was a truly awful day in Canada., one I will never forget. It just never ends, the violence against women.

Sad childhood, became "asocial". Rejected twice by the school where he murdered the young women, also by the Air Force. History of dropping out and failures. Blamed everything on women and for "ruining his life". His suicide note was dripping with disdain and blame.

Not so shocking he is a hero to other incels and certain "men's rights" groups. I would not be surprised if this incel thought him a "hero" too.

A preliminary investigation has determined that the gunman subscribed to the 'incel,' or involuntarily celibate ideology, sources close with the probe told TVA Nouvelles.

He lamented male loneliness and spread derogatory remarks about women in the manifesto, in which he also allegedly attacked porn sites - which he believed are largely responsible for men's misfortune - and criticized modern capitalist society.

The manifesto even called for a violent revolution, according to Radio-Canada.

7. What's really responsible for the rise in male loneliness

Is conflicting expectations based on extracting profits from human beings.
The isolation is the method by which sociopathic money interests break down society in general and create doubt and unrealistic goals for normal people.
A self-confident young person who doesn't depend on being accepted by those around them or finding others to blame when things go wrong in their life will not turn into an incel.
We as a society are being conditioned to limit ourselves and our rights - to accept only our own realities, and deny any others we might not like or fear.
We're being encouraged to ignore the world outside our personal bubbles, and are being taught its okay to resent or deny others who don't live in our realities. It's a patronizing attitude pushed down on the general population by selfish, fearful wannabe "leaders" to create an equally infantilized, isolated mass to bully.

It's now considered weak to acknowledge other different people have a right to exist within a social compact.
Being able to manage in a world of diverse people and complex is considered "too hard" and unacceptable to be forced to do.
Being aware of the world around one is "inconceivable"...

The biggest problem with humanity is untreated mental illness. The matriarchy will focus on healing all, no matter what they suffer from, and doing genetic fixing so this kind of thing goes away. MAGA better accept it, they will be no more as well.

8. Jewish Israeli man killed in Montreal shooting that also left a police officer dead

A shooting on Monday in a heavily Jewish neighborhood of Montreal left three people dead, including an Israeli citizen who was a much-loved member of the Jewish community, a police officer, and the alleged assailant, police in the Canadian city said.

Police indicated that the shooter had not been intentionally targeting the Jewish community, and some initial reports suggested that the Jewish victim may have been killed by errant gunfire.

The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA), a prominent Canadian civil society group, named the slain civilian as Michael Moshe Mizrahi, describing him as “a beloved member of Montreal’s Jewish community.”
