(5,457 posts)1. i'd rather find a better way to deal with homelessness
and i'd certainly be more impressed if the tiny homes were diy on shopping cart chassis, chopped, customized, extended, connected, and accessorized.
i've seen some interesting ideas with the "pods" shipping boxes. not human mobile but the company will pick it up and drop it anywhere.

with extremely similar ones on other videos on the channel.
Is there some real content behind it? I am suspicious of a channel that uses AI images to get people to watch.

LA changed their tune....
Thirty-seven small houses built to temporarily house the homeless will be returned to their former occupants after being seized by the city earlier this year. Officials have agreed to return the tiny homes that were impounded by police and sanitation workers in February when the homeless people living in them were forced to return to sleeping in tents, according to the L.A. Times. Now, organizers are trying to work with the city and other institutions to locate land where the houses can be relocated to be used as shelters again. The sudden turnaround follows fast on the heels of a federal ruling that the city cannot simply seize and destroy a homeless person's property.
