TEXANS SUPPORT LOCKED-OUT WORKERS

http://www.workdayminnesota.org/

The Bisons of North Dakota State University may have beat their hometown team, San Houston State, for the NCAA Division 1 Championship, but Texans showed that some issues transcend even a fierce football rivalry.

Outside the stadium before the Jan. 7 game, local members of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco & Grain Millers union handed out fliers condemning the lockout of 1,300 BCTGM members by American Crystal Sugar in North Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. Crystal Sugar CEO Dave Berg reportedly was scheduled to attend the game, but was a no-show, according to local media.
