(14,177 posts)I didn't know Patrick Stewart was a vampire. Sorry running joke me and my youngest have. We say stars that don't appear to age are vampires. I don't know how Patrick Stewart got under my radar. Dang, he looks good.

(10,597 posts)...I think she's self-destructing before our eyes. I wish she could pull herself together, but I think she's too far gone. And there doesn't seem to be anyone close to her that really cares for her. She needs to take a break for a few years and get some serious long-term therapy, both physical and mental. Lindsie definitely needs to stay away from her horrid dysfunctional family.

I just looked him up...turns out he had cardiac trouble a few years ago. He's about 71 years old. So.....

Sophia Loren's Chicken Cacciatora
Ingredients
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1, 3 to 3 1/2 pound chicken, cut into 8 serving pieces (2 wings, 2 legs, 2 thighs, and each breast cut in half crosswise)
1 medium onion, peeled, halved, and thinly sliced
1 large red pepper, sliced into 1/2-inch strips
1/2 cup dry white wine
3/4 teaspoon salt
Big pinch hot red pepper flakes
2 cups canned plum tomatoes, well drained and coarsely chopped
1/3 cup torn basil leaves
Directions
In a 10 to 12 inch saute pan with cover, heat the oil over medium high heat, and when it is hot, brown the chicken on the skin side first, then the underside. Do not crowd the pan. Brown the chicken in batches if necessary, setting aside the browned chicken on a plate until the rest is done.
When the first few pieces of chicken are almost browned and still in the pan, add the onion red pepper, saute until tender.

(8,515 posts)She says she has never had plastic surgery. I wish I could remember the magazine. I believe it was an article that listed stars that had refrained from surgery, one of them was Sophia and I believe one of the others was the amazing Tina Turner. Anybody remember reading this?

(20,729 posts)plastic surgery, as has lindsay lohan.
it's funny when people laud celebrities for their youthful appearances & credit 'good genes & healthy living'.
There are few people in entertainment who don't resort to plastic, & these days even politicians are doing the same.
