Whole Foods CEO regrets comparing Obamacare to 'fascism'

http://www.nbcnews.com/business/whole-foods-ceo-regrets-comparing-obamacare-fascism-1B8022914#/business/

Whole Foods co-CEO John Mackey said Thursday that he regrets his "poor word choice" in a radio interview comparing America's health care system to "fascism."

In an NPR interview on Wednesday, Mackey said Obamacare is driving up his health care costs, which he believes he will ultimately have to pass on to his employees. When asked about an op-ed he wrote in The Wall Street Journal in 2009 likening Obamacare to socialism, Mackey said: "Technically speaking, it's more like fascism. Socialism is where the government owns the means of production. In fascism, the government doesn't own the means of production but they do control it. And that's what's happening with our health care program with these reforms."

If WF stock tumbles because of this asinine public comment, he can actually be sued by his own shareholders. He has a responsibility to the corporation to not make stupid decisions which will cost his shareholders money. A nationwide boycott could do that, and he'd be personally responsible. Not the corporation, Mackey personally. I'd love to see it. He is a douche bag, and has proven so over and over again. I can't believe he even runs that company. He should be running a chain of Mickey D's.

I can't believe some of these people are CEOs. They are supposed to be somewhat smart to get where they are. Or did they run over people to get to the top?

Anyway, it seems like alot of them have shot off their mouth then had to reconsider their original response to ObamaCare. Duh.
