It's funny, they bombard me with all sorts of right wing crap and the minute I challenge them, they retreat into their crazy bubble and de-friend me or stop sending me Emails.

I think it's because they like the echo chamber way of developing political awareness, that anything that challenges their particular construct can not even be considered. And all I have to say about that is it must be cozy inside that bubble but also draining because the minute someone offers a different angle they crawl further into their rabbit hole.

I figure it's their loss.

5. My Bro has also gone to the dark side.

We used to be real pals and both of us were into bikes cars fishing camping and cruising,about 4 years ago he started getting very interested in Limbaugh, now when i drop by I'm referred to as the family communist because i'm liberal,the bikes are gone,the hot cars are gone to be replaced by guns,lots of guns, he has no more interest in anything other than the shooting range and listening to rightwing media garbage ,FOX mostly, Limbaugh and Beck,and when i drop by its all about trying to bait me into arguments that support some insane rightwing ideology.How such a fun loving guy can turn into a rightwing monster makes me wonder if we arent some how under attack from our enemies and they are turning people into idiots through some method we havent thought of..

7. last time I visited him was 2008

When his younger daughter got married in NJ. She works for Martin lougheed and makes a few hundred thousand annually. She is a mother of 2 little girls. She hates Obama and his health care. She has no sympathy for the poor.

The last 4 winters in Florida when I vacationed there I would see Fox News on every public TV. My brother and his family quote the FOX NEWS people. Two weeks ago was the last straw. He said Obama was exactly like the North Korean dictator. I called him a racist. He hates Obama because of his colour. He hate immigrants especially Mexicans and gays. My older son now lives in England and said to me and my brother that in America you have every right to say anything and be an american idiot. We have not heard anything since from NJ bubba.
