Why is DU down on Geithner? He did the dirty work that needed to be done.

If I recall correctly, Geithner was one of the few people willing to put Elizabeth Warren in her place when she tried to find out what happened during the Wall Street meltdown:

That woman is scary! If she unseats Scott Brown, the job creators will get the vapors and we'll all pay for it.

Geithner, Greenspan, Summers, Bernanke, Paulson, and the rest of the Wall St. banksters are fracking lying sociopaths and totally are enemies of the 99%.

I highly recommend Inside Job. The trashing of Elizabeth Warren by Geithner was brought up in the film.

Inside Job is a 2010 documentary film about the late-2000s financial crisis directed by Charles H. Ferguson. The film is described by Ferguson as being about "the systemic corruption of the United States by the financial services industry and the consequences of that systemic corruption."[3] In five parts, the film explores how changes in the policy environment and banking practices helped create the financial crisis. Inside Job was well received by film critics who praised its pacing, research, and exposition of complex material.

The film was screened at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival in May and won the 2010 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

I'm looking forward to more "free" trade bills, attacks on Social Security, and banker immunity deals come Nov. 7th as much as anyone is.

Do you have a specific loyalty oath that you'd like me to sign?

A Democratic President backing job-destroying "free" trade bills? Waging war on Social Security? Signing away Habeas Corpus? A Whiite House filled with Wall Street riffraff?

These rhings are simply *true*. If you hate them, then you should accuse Obama of working for his *own* defeat.
