1. I think it is going to be a long day for the young girls. Sometimes you'd rather be

some place else.

They begged off at the church and went in a separate car than the Prez and First lady. It should be a fun (and yes, long) day for them.

A day that starts with church, then jam-packed with sitting still and listening to speeches?! Kids don't like that?

This may explain why I don't have kids.

10. You were a kid at one time or other. All I know if I were a kid I would think all day long

party is getting old. Maybe they have something for the kids to do with their friends later. I know being a kid I would be bored after a while. I'm trying to put myself in these young girls shoes.

Their dad was elected president for the second time. I'm sure that they are busting with pride and excitement. I would think that there's no place that they would rather be than with their parents today.

I'm stuck at work, so little snips like this are all I'll have to get me through the day. I told the husband I should've taken today off.

It seems so trivial, but if that limo drove by me, I'd break down in tears. Not just because it's one helluva sexy car, but the history, the joy, the gratitude...you get it.
