trying to provide security at these institutions will drain all the already scarce resources. Where the hell are our priorities? Gun ownership over education? A sure path to third world status.

Of course, that is precisely what many of the GOP wish. Home schooling with edumacation materials from Bob Jones University. Their science curriculum is gooder than their English and history curriculum. (So to speak.)
