as tragic as Chris Stevens's death is, he sees that differently.

(15,445 posts)4. He also mentioned the 4000+ Americans killed in the
wars of choice in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Paul sounded like some conspiracy nut blogger.

(4,112 posts)2. In context, Chris referenced the 4000+ soldiers killed...
"in a 10-year war entered into under false pretenses."

kept hammering home the point about being lied into Iraq and the soldiers who died because of it.

(17,087 posts)7. If that was the worst disaster since 9-11, I'd call it a good decade.

(15,445 posts)9. Unfortunately, Rand Paul's insane rant was total
hyperbole from beginning to end, especially the 9-11 bit. Totally detached from reality.

(797 posts)12. 40,000 deaths in car accidents last year.
Would strike me as more of a disaster than the unfortunate events at Benghazi..
To bring down the number of automobile deaths i'm sure the NRA would suggest driving even faster,100mph minimums..

(42,764 posts)14. The BushCo reelection was the worst disaster since 09/11.
How anyone could vote again for this band of thieves and liars is beyond me. The willfully ignorant brainless zombies tuned in to the RW Hatemonger Media and did as they were instructed and allowed these pirates to continue their reign of terror even though 09/11 happened on BushCo's watch.
