Drug Shortages In Hospital Pharmacies Tied To Group Purchasing Organizations......

I came across this White Paper yesterday that very strongly implicates large Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO's) as being responsible for the rash of drug shortages in hospitals. They suggest that the tactics employed by GPO's are the cause and they are pushing for action in Congress to reduce the influence of these GPO's in healthcare.

This is a well documented and interesting read which provides great detail about political influence and money being the root cause. This is just another example of how corrupt our system has become and how that corruptions trickles down to hurt Americans.
