I too think these photos are very cute indeed, but as the parent of a child who was bitten savagely by a dog that was thought to be a trusted member of the family, I present the following information for a bit of perspective.

[link:http://www.cdc.gov/HomeandRecreationalSafety/Dog-Bites/dogbite-factsheet.html|

Take it or leave it. Much love and luck to you and your beautiful children (all 4 that I can see and any others as well).

Point taken, however. Never leave any small child alone with any animal.

Dog attacks or accidental play accidents happen to small children even when supervised and especially when owners are handling a camera, or in the room but otherwise occupied. It should be remembered that for territorial animals like dogs a child can sometimes be seen as a threat to alphas... A loyal alpha may also try to discipline children on behalf of the owner/parent.

This will teach the dogs that is it OK to sleep on top of humans. It's cute now, but they may regret it when the dogs get older.

So, far there have been no injuries....except for those ugly nights when she steals all the blankets....and a struggle ensues, waking everyone up. No doubt, that sucks!

Some folks are OK with their dogs in bed, and some aren't. Big deal. Live and let live in the case.

It's the dog on top of the kid that is really more concerning.
