palin speaks out after leaving faux

(CNN) - One day after Fox News confirmed that it and Sarah Palin had parted ways, the former Alaska governor spoke out Saturday on why she decided to leave her gig as a paid contributor.

In an interview with the conservative news outlet Breitbart, Palin said she wants to share her values "more broadly" rather than "preach to the choir."

“The message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience," she said.

Palin's contract ended at the end of 2012, but a source close to Palin told CNN that the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee turned down a recent offer to renew it.

IMO she was too much of a loose cannon even for Fox to tolerate, and she's extremely lazy and greedy as hell so I seriously doubt if she would turn down an offer from them.

What happened was that she was fired. Axed. Shit canned. She's way past her sell by date and they were smart enough to figure that out. There was never any offer.

"preach to the choir."

There's nothing fair and balanced about Fox. The entire network exists to preach to (and lie to) the choir.

7. My theory is it all stems back to Gabby Giffords shooting and Palin's lunacy that followed.

It was said Ailes warned her against her "blood liable" video she posted on Facebook. She didn't listen and still wanted to preach to her base at her whim, and make her cool million bucks as the official FOX face of, ""how's all that hopey-changey stuff workin' out for ya, Mr. President?"

In the end, she was too big a liability with too little payoff for even FOX.

Never did. She just strings words together that she thinks sound intelligent. I'm still amazed she was ever elected to any position.

11. I believe she will become more..."obscure.".

From time to time...she will get some time..in some places...but I think the best word..is obscure.

Far less important than she imagines..Her seat at Fox for the last year, gave her a feeling that she "counted" Now, that she is on her own, who will want her but Glen Beck? Is she going to get Meet the Press? Will she go face to face with Rachel Maddow? Just think of that will you?..Rachel interviews Sara...so Sara lies, and Rachel comes back about that lie till Sara says..
"I read all of them."...Now that is something to look forward to.........................

Oh, and I must add...Sara will not do very well when she becomes very..."obscure"
I do not think that obsurity is what she wants...but that is what she will get....

The vast majority that rejected her in 2008 and consider her a joke. No one in my memory has squandered so many opportunities for petty and short-term gains. She had a chance using faux and hate radio to build up a political base/machine (like Hucklenutz has been doing) but her ego just wouldn't let her trust others and her ignorance trumped common sense. To her credit, she did create a whole new occupation: celebrity politician...
