But the last topic I was brave enough to comment on tonight included someone named Demeter with 63,003 posts? Really? Seriously? Come on, how many of us can think of ANYTHING we have done 63,000 times in our lives... (besides maybe bodily functions - and even that's just, what, 2,000 times a year??)

But there are many who have displayed pretty impressive dedication to DU over the years, with far fewer than 60K posts, and I, too, appreciate every one of them.

35. I read a book, oh probably 40 years ago called Dr. Rat (I think)

The narrator was a rat on a wheel spinning in medical test lab and a tale of his interpretation of humanity. He spun and spun and spun with little knowledge of the message he was spinning.
