Police Raid San Bernardino Apartment After Dorner Call

SAN BERNARDINO (KTLA) — Police evacuated an apartment complex in San Bernardino early Sunday after a report that fugitive Christopher Dorner was hiding there.

Tenants awoke to a swarm of armed cops circling Eureka Manor in San Bernardino.

It all happened around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday at 1525 E. Eureka Street. The raid was captured on cell phone video obtained exclusively by KTLA.

SWAT officers stormed a corner apartment as helicopters flew overhead. As a precaution, police ordered residents out through back windows.

The Dorner sighting turned out to be a false alarm — prompted by an apparent prank call.

“The officers came today and kicked in my door,” resident Nini Hamilton, whose apartment was the target of the raid, told KTLA.

“I got into a confrontation with some girls and they made a fake call and said that Christoper Dorner was in my apartment,” she explained.

It's a media clusterfuck!

No good is going to come of this. Dorner has done all he needs to do. The rest will be taken care of by the insane SoCal media, the incompetent and over reactive police forces, and the fringe public who desperately want attention or are scared. Sprinkle in a few perverse people who will pull a prank or two, or many more...

Clusterfuck! Dorner just needs to sit back and watch... And probably laughing his perverse, murdering ass off.

It hasn't been as crazy as you think.

It s the police. They are responding to all calls. I can tell you, my local pd, ER departments, after the very large mobilization early on, are taking civilian calls seriously, but not at the same time, if you get my meaning.

LA Police Departments are just gone nuts.

Oh and I forgot, the stories are almost writing themselves.

But I get what you're saying.

That million dollar reward won't do anything good. It will only send the cops on thousands of wild goose chases. For Christ sakes, a practical joke in San Berdoo emptied an apartment building out the back windows at 1 AM!! (Did I read that correctly? Posted here earlier.)

As alway, thanks for your informed response.

Oh! And don't they sortta have to take reports seriously? I would think so.

For three hours at oh shit s dark and cold out there.

We did not learn the perp search was for a sighting for another 48 hours.

I wonder though, pure speculation on my part, if some of these calls are revenge and others are ahem..."friends" of Doener enjoying the back at ya to LAPD.

Of course issuing a false 911 call, willfully that is, usually is treated as a felony.

But this is why I say, the cops are not driving the bus right now.

Can get you fined, even prosecuted. Good luck with the DA taking that. The population has been instructed to "report any and all sightings, do not engage, Doener is considered armed and dangerous. " This s a direct quote from the extended Blue Alert the other day. Plates, truck and physical description were included.

So, "I swear it was him" is all that/ needed.

Now the guy who called in a plane down the other day on the freeway near Lemon Grove, will probably hate life, if they trace it back.

We had a prank call in Lakeside the other day as well. Sherriffs Dept. pretty much left it alone. I am pretty much willing to say we ave had a lot of them. These are just the ones we know off.

Turn on the scanner for insert pd agency here over the Southland. They are like "fun" right now.
