Where people, a majority are women, are held in bondage, owned by another. In fact, more people are held in slavery than at any point during the era of transatlantic slavery. Wage slavery is horrendous, absolutely immoral. But the condition of being owned by another is a whole other level of oppression.

I just found out a wonderful thing in another thread yesterday, forget which one. But, US jails are another source of very cheap labor and as a bonus lower transportation costs.
