2. There aren't many real slackers out there

In China, wages are rising as workers' expectations and experience are increasing, and that is causing some jobs to move to other countries. Lots of employers want to pay the least amount possible, and that is getting harder to do there.

In America, same thing. The race to the bottom (wages in this case) is getting harder to sustain, given the impact of unsustainably low wages on the economy.
