The GOP Likes "Hatchet" Cuts As Long As It Is Not Defense Or Homeland Security

They got over $40 billion in non defense. What is wrong with $100 billion more? We don't need all the public employees. The controversy about sequestration almost seems irrelevant because even if they cut Social Security and Medicare it will not effect the debt. Only other cuts will directly effect the deficit and the debt. And all the math proves that anything the GOP wants still increases the debt without revenue. The GOP seems to be good at "quantum math" where nothing makes sense.

The fact that some GOP politicians are saying that the cuts won't be that bad make you wonder.

What bothers me most about this debate is that the Dems seem to not want to bring up the inconsistency. And if they do it is not very loud.
