Afterward, Clinton came back and shook everyone's hand, chatted and posed for photos with them. So Mitthead, rushed in late, spoke his drivel and fled without saying "kiss my foot" to the waitstaff. Soooooo, they all brought their cameras in case Mittster would do the same. Ha!!

(90,674 posts)The Big Dog genuinely likes people. (Okay, so he likes women with bouffant hairdos and pneumatic chests a bit too much, but no one's perfect.) And it shows. It's a lot of the reason most of us like him.
Mitt Romney? Commoners are invisible while they work for him. What are we? The stinking peasants? What does he have in mind for us? Factories with barbed wire fences here in the US? We are nothing to this man, and it shows. Nothing.
We are SO LUCKY Scott Prouty was there that night, camera on hand in case this presidential candidate behaved like Clinton.

(6,760 posts)I work in the production industry. We had a show in LA. The Big Dog speaking one afternoon and KKKarl Rove the next.
Clinton came in and introduced himself to everyone backstage, shook their hand and thanked them for their work then went on to give the best speech I ever heard. When it was over, same thing. He came off stage, came to the production area and again thanked everyone for "making me look good" then out the door.
KKKarl? Came in with 4 graysuited goons and went immediately to the Green Room. Never came out until the PA took him to the stage, not a glance at or a word for anyone backstage. After his speech, same thing. Out the door without ever bothering to even notice the "little people".
Made me proud to be a Dem!
