A very pissed (and rightfuly so) Feinstein, with Leahy and Durbin not in a much friendlier mood... the smug look on Cruz's face is something else...

He said Cruzin' for a Bruisin' - I think his producers like me. They used my Kochaine last year

It's like my ex father-in-law told me once about the new young preacher at his church. He said that he was offended by the new preacher's arrogance in telling my father-in-law what the Bible meant by this or that...when my father-in-law had been studying the Bible since even before the preacher's parents had met and married!

When you're a young know-it-all, it's best to realize you're a young know-it-all and try to be respectful and wait your turn to open your big mouth. But he wants to make a name for himself.

This fucker thinks he is God's gift to the law. Something tells me a certain constitutional lawyer is going to be the one to kick him not just back to Earth, but to Kingdom Come. You KNOW this shitstain is going to pull this "I'm a hotshit lawyer" crap on the President at some point. He does so at his own peril.

And therein lies the difference. For some reason, Democrats feel the need to apologize. Festering boils on the collective butt of society like Cruz NEVER feel the need to apologize.

for the life of me I could not understand why.... Maybe because she is, as she put it, "rather well educated", and often that implies a certain type of class... I know DiFi is not much loved around these parts, and I am not a huge fan either, but overall I think she is a serious and mostly effective senator, someone who takes her job very seriously (as all senators should, obviously, but not so many actually do). I knew already that she does not have a law degree, and listening to her now and then in the judicial committee, I was rather impressed. I do not have a legal background either, but I think I am "well educated" - enough to recognize competence in that context.

Maybe he just forgot? Yeah, that's it! He forgot!
