This popped on Facebook. Looks like someone thinks Argentina is a city in Southern Colombia. across the Andes from the Indian Ocean

1. Give them some credit. They're not only in the correct hemisphere, but on the correct continent.

Another MINOR detail - that "Indian Ocean" is actually the "Pacific Ocean". I would expect this sort of thing out of FOX, which put Libya as a border country to Iran in one map they showed. A six year old with a laptop could figure out that the map is completely wrong.

4. I was in an argument with a RW blowhard a couple of years ago

on the subject of rebellion in Egypt. On a nearby table, I noticed a generic 'map of the world,' without labels or borders, so I asked him to point to Egypt - allowing a pudgy finger's width as the margin of error. His finger landed in the vicinity of Guatemala.

La Argentina is a small town located in Huila. Someone probably Googled the name and took the first result to be sufficient.

I noticed that they only interviewed American priests during the coverage. Was frantically flipping between CNN and MSNBC to see some reaction from Argentina. Nada!
