Marco Rubio: "Just because...."
I couldn't believe my ears. I heard a recording of Rubio saying something like "Just because I support DOMA doesn't make me a bigot!"
Uhhh, yes, it does.
He might have as well said "just because I hate all gays and don't think they should be allowed the same rights as other human beings, that doesn't mean that I don't think that they are human beings."
He might have as well said "just because I hate all black people and call them n**** and I don't think they should be allowed the same rights as other human beings, that doesn't mean that I am racist."
He might have as well said "just because I hate all Latin People like me who didn't escape Cuba like me and I don't think they should be allowed the same rights as other human beings, that doesn't mean that I don't think that they are human beings and should be allowed to be American Citizens."
Marco Rubio, yes, you are a bigot. By your own admission. I don't think you understand the concept of bigotry, or of acceptance, or of basic human rights.
