Turn yourself in before you succumb to more anti-soc behavior and are declared non-viable. Subversives are a threat to our peace and strength. We must be incorporated in harmony.

(6,355 posts)...it is more acceptable to pry your way uninvited into someone's body that it is to pry your way into someone's information.
Of course I'm sure it's only a coincidence that corporations have information but no body.
If it ain't good for corporations, it ain't good for America.

(7,006 posts)the Two Juvenile Convicted Rapists were legally tried in Juvenile Court (which is the right of the State of Ohio) to adult sentences instead is talking out of both ends. I hope Anonymous also remember this the next time they jump into a Death Penalty Case inlet say the State of Texas of a 16 year old death row convicted murder, sentenced to the crime 17 years ago and getting ready to face the needle in 24-48 hours.
Can't have it both ways! This internet justice kick is beginning to worry me greatly.

(34,845 posts)As for the disparity of sentences, that's always up to local judges and/or juries and each individual case is different. What would they have us do? Mandate fixed sentencing no matter the circumstances?
That being said, they clearly did something good to get the Steubenville case into a courtroom.

(16,993 posts)You can wreck the economy, cause millions to lose their jobs and homes, yet nothing is done. Those same people who lost everything--taxpayers--then bail out the criminals, who then continue to make huge profits by charging fees to the unemployed who are collecting unemployment benefits which are funded with prepaid bank cards.
$5 to talk to a teller, 40 cents to do a balance inquiry on an ATM, fees for charges against the card for groceries, gasoline, etc.
Apparently, they're too big and too wealthy to be held responsible for their crimes. What does that say to the future we're leaving for our children? It tells them if you have money, you can do whatever you want and get away with it.
