Judging by the another thread I saw on the Perez nomination, it would appear this is a coordinated attack by members of the right-wing media and the Republican Party, and it's on the first Latino nominee for Obama's second-term Cabinet.

By the way, Limbaugh today called Obama a reality tv show star for all his supposed efforts to get on tv and pursue celebrity. He called him "Obama Kardashian". Coming from a defacto leader of a party that invited two reality tv show stars to its CPAC event, Trump and Palin, this is pretty rich.
