Pot almost decriminalized/legalized , my GLBT friends allowed to marry, Republicans on the ropes

Not in my lifetime did I think I'd see this happen.

I thought equal rights for minorities, the voting rights act, a man on the moon, the Berlin wall tumbling down, and an African American President elected TWICE was a lot in a lifetime, but now these too.

Been a great life.

Just read Idaho repugs want to ban all premaritel sex on TV and this is just one of many thousands of these types of bills these people are bringing forth.. Creationism is still believed by 46% of the American people...and republicans are still wining house seats..

It can go back the other way....puritan prudes scare me more than anything - talibornagain types..

Don't let your guard down so soon...

If nothing else, that metric makes me feel a lot better about our future.

Last poll it was about 52%, which was long before CO and WA legalized. I bet it's in the mid-60's next time the poll is taken.

That said, I don't think anybody is ready to let their guard down. I'm going to fight like hell in 2014 and 2016.
