It seems they take a crime or other offense committed by one of them and they either accuse somebody else of it, usually an innocent person, or make it seem like a big virtuous act that everyone should applaud.

"Oh look I just took a big shit on the white carpet because it will make the room look and smell great!" or,

"It's your fault putting down that white carpet if you didn't want me to take a shit on it!"
