Doesn't The Idiocy Of The Repug Party Rub Repug Voters That Support The Repugs The Wrong Way?....

In the run up to the last election we endured a 'clown car' of Repugs making idiotic statements. We experienced this on the presidential level, the state level and the local levels of government. Repugs vying for office and jockeying for position - be they traditional Repugs or Tea Partiers - made all kinds of idiotic and stupid comments that - in my opinion - were embarrassing and downright objectionable.

If I were a Repug voter I would be embarrassed to associate myself with these people.

Today with the recent CPAC conference and the parade of Repug loonies giving speeches - it seems like the Repugs haven't learned their lesson and just go on making stupid and idiotic statements. In Congress we have elected officials doing things that seem downright treasonous and detrimental to the US of A.

We now have either the same clown car with different occupants or some of the same occupants in a new clown car. I haven't figured out which one we have yet.

Anyway - like I said above - if I were a Repug voter - I would be embarrassed to acknowledge that - let alone vote for any of these lunatics.

Isn't there some way we can collectively make those Repug voters that follow these lunatics embarrassed to be Repugs? Can't we say things that make it uncomfortable to be associated with these Repug lunatics.

I know if I were of Repug persuasion I would be embarrassed now to admit it. I would think that my friends and associates would think less of me if I espoused or supported people like these lunatics running for office. I would be afraid my friends and associates would think that I am a lunatic as well.

Have any of you out there in DU land met a Repug voter that acknowledges that they are embarrassed to be known as a Repug?

Isn't there some way that we can facilitate that happening. I'm thinking that a lot of people now are ashamed to admit that they smoke or smoked cigarettes because of all the bad publicity that has been attributed to smoking. Can't we make that same thing happen for people who vote Repug?

Just a thought?
